Manchester United Make Decision On Four Midfield Targets Ahead Of Transfer Deadline

Manchester United are expected to “hold back” from signing a new midfielder before the transfer window closes, according to Eurosport.

The likes of Wolves’ Ruben Neves, Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga, Leicester’s Wilfried Ndidi and West Ham’s Declan Rice have all been considered as possible signings this summer but it appears that a decision has been made to delay a move for these players until next year.

Paul Pogba’s decision to remain at United, along with the presence of Donny van de Beek, means manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly happy with the options currently at his disposal.

Whether some of these targets will move to other clubs in the meantime, we shall have to wait and see. Arsenal have been heavily linked with Neves while Camavinga and Rice have been scouted by Chelsea.

Some fans do have questions over whether the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay are good enough to help the Red Devils sustain a title challenge, but both impressed in the 5-1 win over Leeds yesterday afternoon.
