Amad Diallo’s first goal for Manchester United against AC Milan last night delighted every supporter but one person who was prouder than most was Eric Bailly.
Being a fellow Ivorian, the defender has undoubtedly played a key role in helping the teenager settle in Manchester over the past couple of months. After Diallo scored, Bailly piled on top of the youngster and the rest of the players who were celebrating the goal:

Diallo got more game time than he expected last night, with Anthony Martial having to go off injured at half time, but he managed to score just five minutes after coming on, with an excellent headed finish.
It will be interesting to see whether he is handed his first start against West Ham this weekend, with neither Martial nor Edinson Cavani expected to be fit.
