Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Martial And Rashford

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial could play again this season after recovering earlier than expected from a knee injury.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had originally ruled out the France international for the remaining fixtures, after playing his last match against Leicester in the FA Cup back in March.

However, while it is thought that Martial won’t be available to play Roma on Thursday or against Aston Villa at the weekend, he could well be involved in the club’s last four league matches, as well as the Europa League final, if United make it through.

Marcus Rashford’s fitness also remains somewhat of a concern. The forward is said to be carrying both foot and shoulder injuries and it is believed he will have to be managed through games between now and the end of the campaign.

The only other first-team player currently on the treatment table is Phil Jones with the defender now likely to sit out the whole season due to a knee problem.
