‘Take A Bow’ ‘Ice Cold’ ‘Deadly’ Fans Lavish Praise On United Star Who Continued His Hot Streak Against Roma

Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood scored his sixth goal in his last nine appearances, as he rounded off a 6-2 rout against Roma last night.

Pundits were surprised when the 19-year-old was left out of the starting lineup for the game, but he duly made his mark after coming on as a second-half substitute.

An excellent pass from Edinson Cavani sent Greenwood through on goal, who slotted the ball past Roma keeper Antonio Mirante, four minutes from time. Fans on Twitter were praising his finishing ability after the match:

Greenwood has, on the whole, struggled to replicate the form he showed last season, but he has come alive again in recent weeks, with some superb finishes that demonstrate why so many supporters are excited about his future.

Of course, he still needs to work on his game. He struggled playing as the number nine against Leeds last week, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does appear to be managing his development as a player very well, for the most part.
