Latest Manchester United Injury News: Updates On Dalot, Maguire And 4 Other Players

Manchester United fullback Diogo Dalot is a doubt for Tuesday’s game against Nottingham Forest due to a hamstring injury.

The 23-year-old picked up the problem in Portugal’s defeat to Morocco in the quarter-finals of the World Cup a couple of weeks ago and it remains to be seen when he will be back in contention.

Manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed club captain Harry Maguire was ill ahead of the 2-0 win over Burnley in the Carabao Cup earlier this week, so he is also touch and go for the Forest game.

Raphael Varane is not expected to be available for Tuesday’s fixture. Although it is believed that he only picked up cramp during the World Cup final versus Argentina, rules stipulate that he should be given ten days’ rest. Lisandro Martinez is also in the same situation.

Axel Tuanzebe is thought to be closing in on a return to first-team action, having missed the whole season with injury so far, but Jadon Sancho is still training away from the first team, with ten Hag stating the player is still working on his fitness.
