Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag gave a one-word response when asked about Jadon Sancho’s situation.
The 22-year-old has been training with a fitness coach in Holland to get him back in shape and, when asked whether he had an update on Sancho’s potential return to the squad, ten Hag simply replied:
“No”.
From the looks of things, Sancho won’t be playing for the first team any time soon, and supporters on Twitter are understandably concerned about his future at the club:
Ouch

It doesn’t look good for Sancho, to say the least. The concerning thing about ten Hag’s initial remarks about the player was that he wasn’t “physically or mentally” ready to play, which suggests an attitude problem.
Of course, that is mere speculation, and it’s not fair to be too critical of the player as we don’t know the full story but, after costing £73m just eighteen months ago, it’s a surprise to see him being left out of the squad, let alone the starting eleven.
