Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag “urgently wants” the club to recruit Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to Sport1‘s Chief Reporter Patrick Berger.
However, the German journalist claims that, while the Red Devils are very keen on signing the teenager, they only have an outside chance of doing so:
Real and City in the Jude Bellingham race. Understand ManUnited have outsider chances. EtH urgently wants the England star. 3 years ago the midfielder visited Carrington and met Sir Alex. 🔴

It is believed that Manchester City and Real Madrid remain firm favourites to snap up Bellingham, as they are the only two clubs willing to match Dortmund’s €150m (£132m) asking price.
Liverpool have already pulled out, while Chelsea would also find out it difficult to come up with the funds due to Financial Fair Play rules.
Another complicating factor for United is the takeover talks. A third round of bidding is underway and the delay in the club’s sale could hamper their efforts in the summer transfer window.
It is, therefore, wise for supporters not to get their hopes up about Bellingham moving to Old Trafford at this stage.
