Journalist Claims Club Are ‘Bracing Themselves’ For Bids For 15M Rated Croatian Fullback As United And Chelsea Circle

Celtic are “bracing themselves for more interest” in Josip Juranovic, according to the Scottish Daily Mail reporter Stephen McGowan

The journalist, who is very reliable when it comes to the Hoops, claims that the Scottish champions are expecting bids for the fullback if he performs well for Croatia at the World Cup next month.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid were all linked with Juranovic over the summer, with it being suggested that the 27-year-old could be offloaded for around £15m.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has already expressed his desire to bring in more competition for Diogo Dalot. Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong is one option being considered by the Manchester club but they are also said to be considering alternatives.

Any new addition at right-back, though, is likely to depend on United offloading Aaron Wan-Bissaka first. A move back to Crystal Palace is a possibility, although getting an agreement over a transfer fee could be a major stumbling block.
