Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has made signing for Paris Saint-Germain this summer a “priority”, according to RMC Sport‘s chief football reporter Mohamed Bouhafsi.
The French journalist reports Manchester United will try and convince the 18-year-old to move to Old Trafford, when the Red Devils meet with the player’s agent, but Bouhafsi says the teenager is keen on remaining in his home country:
? Manchester United has officially expressed interest in #Camavinga ??. Man #United will even meet his entourage next week to convince him to join United. PSG remains the priority of the player. He would like to stay in France. Free in June 2022.

Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal are also thought to be monitoring Camavinga’s situation. The France Under 21 international has just a year left on his contract but Rennes are still believed to be holding out for around €50m (£43m).
With the Frenchman unlikely to sign an extension, it seems the midfielder will be on the move in the coming weeks and months, but that is not guaranteed to happen.
Camavinga could yet stay at Rennes and leave on a free transfer next year, but that would probably reduce United’s chances of signing him, with so many other teams likely to make a move for the player.
