Rennes head coach Bruno Genesio is hoping that Eduardo Camavinga’s future can be resolved as soon as possible.

The 18-year-old’s current deal with the French club expires next summer, and he is reportedly being followed by Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Arsenal.

When asked about Camavinga’s situation, Genesio said he is very keen for the teenager to make a decision so both the club and the player can move forward:

“We have already stressed several times that we cannot afford to remain in this situation concerning an international player like him. It’s part of a career to have important decisions to make, he has a very important one [decision] to make for his future, and we at the club also have our interests to defend. I hope we find a solution that everyone is satisfied with.”

There were claims in France earlier this week that the Red Devils were expected to hold a meeting with Camavinga’s agents, but the majority of journalists feel PSG are the red-hot favourites to secure his signature.

The midfielder is believed to be keen on staying in France but it remains to be seen who will match Rennes’ asking price. Despite having only one year remaining on his contract, the Ligue One side are likely to demand up to €50m (£43m) for the youngster.
