“I Don’t Have To Sell Anyone…” Club President Issues Hands Off Warning As United And Chelsea Circle 17 Goal Striker

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has made it clear that Manchester United target Victor Osimhen isn’t available for transfer.

Both the Red Devils and Chelsea have been mentioned as potential suitors for the Nigerian international in the Italian press over the past few weeks but De Laurentiis claims he is under no pressure to sell the player:

“I can tell you that Osimhen is not for sale. Our players are in demand, but I don’t have to sell anyone. We don’t have any debts.”

Osimhen has been in outstanding form this season, racking up 17 goals in all competitions, but there has been growing speculation that Napoli will decide to cash in on the striker this summer.

De Laurentiis may well be setting out a tough stance in public but it could be a different situation privately. It is believed Napoli would consider offloading the forward for between €120m (£107m) and €150m (£133m).

It would be a sizeable outlay for United, who are known to be in the market for a new number nine, but if they have a new owner in place by the end of the season, a bid for Osimhen can’t be ruled out.
