Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani scored his first goal for the club in stoppage time against Everton yesterday as the Red Devils sealed a 3-1 win at Goodison Park.
The Uruguayan international slotted the ball past Jordan Pickford after he was picked out by Bruno Fernandes. Supporters on Twitter are hoping the 33-year-old can replicate the success of another veteran striker who scored plenty of goals for United:

It will be interesting to see whether manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will look to start Cavani in upcoming games now the forward is off the mark. The frontline has looked toothless on occasion this season and, with the player being so clinical in front of goal, they could do with someone with his finishing ability in the team.
There are still question marks over Cavani’s fitness, considering he has still not started a competitive game since February, but the games after the international break against West Brom and Istanbul Basaksehir could be the perfect time to bed him into the starting eleven.
