“He’s a Big, Big Talent” Gary Neville Says United Should Sign This £30m Rated Player To Fill Problem Position

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville says Manchester United should consider signing Watford winger Ismaila Sarr after being left impressed with the Senegalese international’s form in recent months.

The former defender was on commentary duty for the Hornets’ game against West Ham on Friday and he lavished praise on the 22-year-old, who he believes could solve a problem on the right-hand side of United’s attack:

“Manchester United need a right-winger. He’s a big, big talent, honestly he really is. We’ve seen his performances before but tonight he was a shining light, even in that first half there were periods where Watford did attack and it was through him.”

“So yeah he’ll be sought after and Watford will, I’m sure, cash in if they get the right bid.”

Sarr only joined Watford from Rennes for a club-record £30m last summer and it did take some time for him to settle in England due to fitness problems.

However, the arrival of Nigel Pearson as manager saw him get a more prominent role in the team, with his standout performance coming against Liverpool in February, when he scored a brace and provided an assist in a shock 3-0 win.

Sarr would certainly be a cheaper alternative to Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho but it is questionable whether he would offer the same quality as the England international.
