Manchester United have a agreed a £140,000 a week, five-year contract with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, according to the Sunday Times and Daily Record reporter Duncan Castles.
Speaking on his Transfer Window Podcast, the journalist revealed that the 20-year-old’s wage will rise to £200,000 over the duration of the deal.
Supporters on Twitter are highly sceptical about Castles’ reporting, who is not the most reliable of sources:
so you cant give an exact figure of his wage,
then gave yourself a 60k cushion to cover you’re back

Agreeing with the player and agreeing with Dortmund are hugely different.

There is a possibility that personal terms have already been agreed. It is common practice for clubs to sound out the agents of targets so they get the finer details of the deal out of the way before making a formal bid.
Even then, though, it doesn’t necessarily mean a transfer is on the cards as United still have to match Dortmund’s asking price for Sancho, which is likely to be in excess of £100m. The Red Devils will also have to beat off competition from other clubs with the likes of Chelsea still said to be in the running for the England international.
