Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani was not spotted arriving at the team’s hotel last night ahead of this evening’s game against Manchester City.
The Uruguayan international’s absence for the derby would be a serious blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side’s chances of getting a result and fans on Twitter are worried by the latest development:

Being absent from the team hotel does not necessarily mean Cavani won’t be involved but his recent injury record does suggest supporters are right to be worried about the 34-year-old missing the game.
The forward was sidelined for four matches with a muscular injury before returning for the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night and there will be concerns that he has suffered a recurrence of some kind.
Anthony Martial is expected to be back in contention for the City clash after overcoming a knee problem but many fans would have preferred to see Cavani fit and available.
