Manchester United lost out on Erling Haaland to Borussia Dortmund as they refused to agree to a release clause and to give away a percentage of any future transfer fee, according to reports in England.

Of course, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be frustrated that the club missed out on Haaland. The United boss had hoped to work with the teenager again after working with him at Molde.
However, the club are now said to be focused on signing other targets. The Red Devils are reportedly keen to sign two midfielders and a striker between now and next summer.
It is believed Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish are in the club’s sights while an approach for Lyon’s Moussa Dembele could now be on the cards after losing the race for Haaland.
