Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is set to leave Old Trafford on a permanent basis at the end of the season, according to The Telegraph reporter Mike McGrath.
The journalist, who is usually very reliable when it comes to transfers, claims that Sancho is unlikely to be reintegrated back into the first-team setup when his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund comes to an end.
There has been a mixed reaction to the news among supporters on X, with some glad that Sancho is going, while others are disappointed:

This could be an indication that EtH is going to be our manager next season.— Just Kogz (@SKogibito) May 1, 2024

Sancho’s form at Dortmund
The 24-year-old has had a rather indifferent spell back in Germany, having scored just 3 goals and contributed 2 assists in 16 appearances.
Dortmund are, however, still believed to be keen on keeping Sancho at the end of the season, but it remains to be seen whether they can find the funds necessary to make a credible offer.
Does this give us any hint about ten Hag’s future at United?
Considering Sancho’s falling out with Erik ten Hag, it does appear that the Dutchman has got his way if the £73m signing is being sold.
However, it’s probably wise not to read too much into it. Even if ten Hag is sacked, the club may offload Sancho regardless, with INEOS seemingly open to offers for most of the first-team squad.
