FIVE Premier League Managers Who Could Lose Their Jobs

After writing a similar post back at the start of January, we thought it would be a good idea to provide an update on which Premier League manager is expected to lose their job next.

Teams don’t tend to gamble by replacing their head coach this late in the season usually but, sometimes, results force club’s owners into making drastic decisions.

We have used Sky Bet for our odds, and we must say there aren’t really many surprises in terms of the names in our top five.

Press the next page as we list the Premier League managers who are the likeliest to leave their jobs.

5) Ralf Rangnick (Manchester United) – 16/1

The German is actually joint fifth favourite at Sky Bet along with Everton’s Frank Lampard and Burnley’s Sean Dyche, but his presence on the list is mainly due to the fact that he is expected to leave his post in the summer anyway.

United’s form has improved somewhat under Rangnick but he certainly hasn’t done enough so far to warrant being considered for a permanent role.

4) Thomas Frank (Brentford ) – 8/1

It is surprising to see the Dane so high up on the list of favourites to be sacked but, after an excellent start to the Bees’ first season in the Premier League, things have tailed off quite alarmingly.

Frank’s side have picked up just four points from their last eleven games and their last league win came all the way back at the start of January against Aston Villa.

3) Roy Hodgson (Watford) – 6/1

Considering the Hornets have already sacked two managers this season, you wouldn’t put it past them if they decided to get rid of another coach before the campaign is over.

Hodgson hasn’t exactly had a great start to life in the dugout at Vicarage Road, with one win, two draws and three defeats in his first six matches.

2) Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City) – 5/1

The Northern Irishman has been linked with the Arsenal and Manchester United jobs over the past couple of years after guiding the Foxes to successive fifth-place finishes, as well as winning the FA Cup last season.

However, Rodgers’ golden touch has seemingly deserted him this campaign, with his side currently 12th in the Premier League table; fifteen points off the top six.

1) Antonio Conte (Tottenham Hotspur) – 2/1

The Italian even questioned his own position after the defeat to Burnley last month and things haven’t exactly gone much better since then after being knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

Conte seems very frustrated by the limitations he is working under at Spurs and it would not be a surprise to see him leave the London club in the not too distant future.
