The German is actually joint fifth favourite at Sky Bet along with Everton’s Frank Lampard and Burnley’s Sean Dyche, but his presence on the list is mainly due to the fact that he is expected to leave his post in the summer anyway.
United’s form has improved somewhat under Rangnick but he certainly hasn’t done enough so far to warrant being considered for a permanent role.
