Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe has now fully recovered from a foot injury that kept him out for the second half of last season, according to reports in the local media.
The 22-year-old underwent surgery which prevented him from taking part in any games after the restart but he is now feeling no ill effects and should be back in full training within the next few weeks.
Tuanzebe is highly rated by members of United’s backroom staff and has also impressed supporters when he was given opportunities by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Fans on Twitter are happy that the centre-back will be back in action soon:

Very cliched but if he can get a run of games uninterrupted, it could be like a new signing. Has so much potential, can't wait for it to turn into proven ability at the top level.

On his return to the first-team fold, Tuanzebe will likely be seen as fourth choice behind captain Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly. Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are currently training by themselves as they look to seal moves away from Old Trafford, while Phil Jones is expected to be sidelined for a while due to a knee injury.
