Ex Chelsea Striker Tipped For PL Return With United Named As One Of 3 Clubs Eyeing 67M Transfer

Manchester United, Aston Villa and Everton are all interested in signing Roma forward Tammy Abraham, according to reports in the UK.

The England international left England in the summer of 2021, moving from Chelsea to the Giallorossi for £34m. The Blues are believed to have an €80m (£70.8m) buyback option on the player, which comes into effect this summer.

However, a return to Stamford Bridge looks unlikely and Roma are expected to make Abraham available to other clubs for a similar fee (reportedly £67m).

United have not made Abraham a priority target at this stage. They are said to be keeping tabs on the 25-year-old but he has struggled for form during his second season in Italy, having scored just seven times in 33 matches.

It is thought that another Serie A player, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, is United’s number one option currently, but the Nigerian international could cost almost double the price.
