Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen has singled out Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League clash.

The England international has been in phenomenal form this season and Christensen says the striker will be a major threat to Barca:

“He is in great shape at the moment. I like him a lot, I love his way of playing. He is a direct, dangerous and powerful player.”

Christensen left Chelsea to move to Spain last summer, and he has been a regular starter in recent weeks, having had his season disrupted due to an ankle injury.

He has been part of a defence that has conceded just seven times in 21 league matches this season but it has been a different story in Europe.

During the Champions League group stages, Barcelona let in 12 goals in their six fixtures and, with Rashford being on fire in front of goal at the moment, you would back him to get on the scoresheet at the Camp Nou. Whatever happens, it is sure to be an intriguing contest between two evenly-matched teams.
