Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson will ask to leave Old Trafford in the summer unless he is made first choice ahead of next season, according to reports in the local media.
The 23-year-old has made just 12 appearances since returning from his loan spell at Sheffield United and he has yet to displace current number one David De Gea.
Henderson has performed well when given the chance by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but supporters on Twitter are very much split on whether the England international should be handed the gloves:
De Gea is clear.

If we look at the data this season, De Gea has a save percentage of just 63.7%, compared to Henderson’s 76.9%, although the Englishman’s lack of games means a direct comparison is not completely reliable.
Even so, De Gea’s marked drop off in form suggests Henderson would be deserving of the number one jersey, but we shall see in the coming months what decision Solskjaer makes on the pair’s future.
