Manchester United continue their Champions League venture against CSKA Moscow on Wednesday, a game that will be no walk in the park by any stretch.
Jose Mourinho’s men have had a brilliant start to proceedings so far this season, winning all but one of their games as they look to mount a serious title challenge.
United began their European campaign with a 3-0 victory over Basel at Old Trafford, a game that was marred by an injury to captain on the night Paul Pogba. Mourinho will hope his side go into the game at Moscow with a cautious head on, as Russia is always such a difficult place to play at for British sides in Europe.
The Red Devils will have centre-backs Phil Jones and Eric Bailly available once more after the duos suspensions have been played out. Midfielder Paul Pogba is still out with a hamstring injury, whilst long-term casualties Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could well miss the group stages of the competition.
United will be expected to continue with their usual 4-3-3 formation against CSKA, and there could be one or two changes in the pipeline with Mourinho’s men not producing such a brilliant performance against Southampton on the weekend.
