Chelsea are “open” to loaning out Christian Pulisic, with Manchester United and Newcastle both interested in the American, according to Ben Jacobs.
The journalist has confirmed a report written by The Athletic journalist Andy Mitten who says the winger is a target for manager Erik ten Hag:
Chelsea are open to letting Christian Pulisic leave on loan. Told Gregg Berhalter has also advised him to get regular game time. Pulisic is an automatic starter for #USMNT but told Berhalter wants him playing more regularly. As @AndyMitten reports, #MUFC interested. #NUFC, too.

In addition to Newcastle, Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also interested in recruiting Pulisic, although it is believed that the 23-year-old’s preferred destination is Old Trafford.
The USA international joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £58m during the 2019 January transfer window, but injuries and fluctuating form have meant he has never established himself as a regular starter for the Blues.
Pulisic would certainly add more depth to United’s frontline. His favoured position is on the left flank and, with Marcus Rashford struggling, he could provide stern competition for the England star.
Whether Chelsea would be willing to loan out such a high-profile player to another Premier League club, though, we shall have to wait and see.
