Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen played a key role as the Red Devils secured a 3-1 win against Arsenal yesterday evening.
While Erik ten Hag’s side were on the back foot for a significant portion of the game, they were lethal on the counter-attack, with much of the credit going to Eriksen.

Eriksen was pivotal in the first and third goals. For Antony‘s opener, he played a line-breaking pass to Bruno Fernandes, while he broke through Arsenal’s high line to set up Marcus Rashford for his second goal of the game.
It certainly wasn’t a perfect match from the men in red by any means, but having someone like Eriksen in the team who can turn a game on its head with one pass, is crucial when the two sides are very evenly matched.
