Manchester United are keen on signing a new number one goalkeeper in the summer, according to Sky Sports.
The report says the Red Devils have been monitoring the likes of Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak, AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Lille’s Mike Maignan as potential replacements for David De Gea.
Considering many believe Dean Henderson is ready to make the step up to first choice, supporters on Twitter have had a hard time believing the claims made by Sky:
Are United dense?

To be honest, the report makes no sense whatsoever. Oblak, Donnarumma and Maignan are good players, and they have been linked with moves to Chelsea and other Premier League teams, but a new number one goalkeeper is surely not a priority for United.
Donnarumma is probably the likeliest option considering he is available on a free transfer in the summer, but you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who thinks he would be much better than Henderson.
