Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have already made offers to sign Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero on a free transfer this summer, according to Footmercato.net.
It was announced on Monday that the Argentinian international, who has scored 375 goals in his professional career, will be leaving the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Aguero has spent ten years at United’s rivals, with a statue expected to be put up in his honour, so fans on Twitter are understandably writing off the report as nonsense:

I don’t know how they do it! That’s height of poor journalism and reporting. When will they learn. ??♂️

A complete lie. This will never happen for so many reasons that it would not fit in a tweet.

Although United will likely be after a striker, it would be a massive shock if they are seriously considering Aguero as an option. The 32-year-old is highly unlikely to be interested anyway, considering his long association with City. A move abroad is the likeliest outcome with a switch to Spain, Italy or a return to his native Argentina all possibilities.
