Manchester United midfielder Fred put in a very disappointing display after coming on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw versus Tottenham on Thursday night.
The Brazilian international was only on the pitch for the last half hour, with manager Erik ten Hag having sent him on in place of Christian Eriksen.
However, he managed to lose the ball eight times, putting his team under needless pressure, and fans on Twitter vented their frustrations about his display following the game:
He was absolutely atrocious when he came on

Fred has always struggled with consistency, and it is more than likely the reason why ten Hag has used him pretty sparingly in the Premier League this campaign, having started him on just ten occasions.
Ten Hag told reporters after the match that Fred was brought on to break up opposition attacks, but his wastefulness in possession meant that any good work off the ball was undone. The midfielder will be keen to improve in future outings.
