After a solid win in midweek, Manchester United will be looking to build upon it with a win over Sean Dyche’s Everton at the weekend – but with the Toffees fighting for their Premier League lives, it will not be easy.

United currently have three players who will miss the Everton game with injuries – they are Donny Van De Beek, Tom Heaton and Alejandro Garnacho. Additionally, Cristian Eriksen and Luke Shaw are both major doubts and may also miss out.

On top of this, United will also be without star midfielder Casemiro, as he continues to sit out his second red card suspension of the season.

In their last game, Manchester United defeated Brentford by a score of 1-0. It wasn’t United’s best performance of the season, but they looked largely comfortable throughout – Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, Everton picked a vital point on the road in their last game, where they played Tottenham Hotspur. It was a controversial game that saw both teams pick up red cards – in the end, Michael Keane salvaged a draw for the Toffees with a last-minute screamer.

The last time the two teams met, United came from behind to snatch victory. Everton took the lead early on thanks to a goal from Alex Iwobi, but United responded quickly through Antony – 30 minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo scored what would prove to be the winning goal of the game.
