Manchester United are one of a number of Premier League teams keeping tabs on Birmingham City defender Nico Gordon, according to journalist Nathan Gissing.
The reporter, who has written for Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, claims that the Red Devils have joined the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham in pursuing the teenager:
#Birmingham City defender Nico Gordon’s contract expires in 2023 and has interest from many top clubs including Chelsea, Man United, Spurs, Arsenal & other clubs. #CFC scouts have attended Gordon’s last 3 games.

Gordon is highly rated at St Andrews, with some supporters having even likened his playing style to Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk, but the 19-year-old has a long way to go in his development to be really compared to the Dutchman.
The centre-back was handed his senior debut back in 2020 but Birmingham boss Lee Bowyer has since given Gordon regular starting opportunities, having selected him in the Blues’ last six league games.
As Gissing reports, Gordon’s contract situation means a lot of teams are circling, and we shall have to wait and see whether United make a move for the youngster.
