Manchester United have confirmed that Amad Diallo has been sidelined for six weeks with a muscular injury.
The Ivorian was all set to complete a loan move to Feyenoord but he will now stay with the club in order to recover full fitness. Supporters on Twitter are disappointed that the winger has been sidelined and they have been wishing the teenager a speed recovery:
Big big shame.

Feyenoord are already eyeing up Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson as a possible alternative so it’s unlikely that Amad will be heading to the Eredivisie in the January transfer window.
Other teams, such as Crystal Palace, Sheffield United and Basel have also registered an interest in the 19-year-old so it is quite possible that one of them will try their luck again in the New Year.
United paid £34m (including bonuses) for Amad last October but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels the player needs more first-team experience and a loan spell away from Old Trafford would have been a great opportunity to get some.
