Manchester United are confident of signing Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, and have been in contact with the 20-year-old’s agent over the last two months as they look to secure a deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.

United are said to be looking to head off competition from the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool in Sancho, and it does appear that they are currently leading the race to sign the winger.
However, the club have been in this position before with Erling Haaland and supporters will be hoping that the Red Devils do what is necessary to get the deal over the line in the coming months.
Ex-United defender Rio Ferdinand has said he would love to see Sancho line up alongside the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial:
“How highly would you rate Sancho, Rashford and Martial as a front three? Too much, I’d love to see that, I’d pay money now to see that.”
Whether we’ll get to see that trio play at Old Trafford next season, we shall have to wait and see.
