Manchester United have been in contact with the agent of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, according to reports in the German media.
The Frenchman is currently locked in contract negotiations with Bayern but they are struggling to agree terms over a new deal. The Red Devils have reportedly told the player’s representatives that they can pay £260,000 a week before tax.
Coman is only earning £140,000 a week with Bayern and the Bundesliga champions are worried that he may not sign an extension. Fans on Twitter believe United should look to make an offer for the player in the summer:

Whether United will be able to secure the 24-year-old’s signature, it remains to be seen. Although Coman’s contract expires in 2023, some at Bayern are worried about a repeat of the situation that has seen David Alaba decide to leave the Allianz Arena on a free transfer. That means they could be open to a potential sale if they feel they won’t be able to keep the France international.
