‘Would Not Be Difficult’ Report Claims Ten Hag Could Seal First United Signing With Move For 50M Rated Star

Ajax won’t stand in the way of Erik ten Hag raiding their club for one of his former players if he does become Manchester United manager, according to The Sun.

The English tabloid claims that ten Hag is a big fan of Antony and it “would not be difficult” to secure the Brazilian’s services, as long as the Red Devils are willing to pay “in excess” of £50m.

Antony has also been linked with Liverpool and Chelsea in recent months but his good relationship with ten Hag would likely mean that he would be open to a move to Old Trafford.

United have very few options on the right-hand side, with Mason Greenwood absent, and Jadon Sancho being mostly used as a left-winger.

With that being the case, Antony does appear to be an ideal signing. The Brazilian international is only 22 years of age, and he has been in good form this campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists in 33 appearances.
