‘Won’t Be Enough’ Romano Provides Worrying Update About United’s Move For Sancho

Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are still €25m (£21.5m) apart in their valuation of Jadon Sancho, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Dortmund remain steadfast in demanding a fee worth €95m (£81.6m), including bonuses, for the England international but Romano says the Red Devils have still not raised their offer above €70m (£60m):

Some supporters may be concerned that negotiations are taking so long, and there are fears that other interested clubs, such as Chelsea or Liverpool, could get involved with their own bids for Sancho.

However, at this stage, everything points to the 21-year-old moving to Old Trafford. The winger has agreed personal terms, while agent fees have also been settled on.

While there remains a sizeable gap between the two sides on the transfer fee, you would certainly not call the difference insurmountable. It is now down to both United and Dortmund to find a compromise in the coming days.
