Will The Reconstruction Of Real Madrid Start With De Gea?

David De Gea seems closer and closer to the Bernabeu after failing to sign an extension with Manchester United so far. Apparently he is keen to return to his friends and family and has even turned down the chance of becoming the Premier League’s best paid stopper. According to the Telegraph, LVG wanted to give the Spaniard £200,000 per week but that has been refused by the player’s agent. Even worse news emerged as people surrounding the keeper have informed reporters that he has already said goodbye to most of the team’s staff. The 24 year old who has a brilliant future ahead, might be the first big move Real Madrid’s new manager makes after being designated to replace Ancelotti. With his contract set to expire in 2016, the stopper will probably be sold for about £30million.

LVG could be forced to embrace the inevitable and might want to make the most out of a tricky situation. Players like Ronaldo, Ramos or Benzema could be included in a swap which many might find productive. With Van Persie set to leave and with Falcao already returning to Monaco, Manchester could use a new striker. Benzema would be experienced and efficient enough to move to Old Trafford. Ramos would also be a brilliant addition to the team as LVG is already looking for a defender. It is very hard to tell what will happen up until the first day of transfers when many deals are expected to go down.
