Will Manchester United Need To Buy 2 New Keepers?

Manchester United are in a tough situation after Valdes was scratched from LVG’s plan for next season as a result of some strange behavior.

Manchester United might be obligated to look for not one but two new keepers as both De Gea and Valdes are uncertain of their future at Old Trafford. If De Gea is homesick and would like to return to Spain, Valdes is on a totally different path. According to the Mirror, the former Barcelona man decided to take LVG’s kindness for granted and started opposing the club’s demands. This has clearly upset Van Gaal who publically declared that the Spaniard’s mentality is not in tune with that of Manchester United. To be fair, any strange behavior towards the club should be sanctioned when it comes to Valdes who was clearly given a huge boost when LVG decided to give him a chance to reboot his career. It was all about the money with the Spaniard who stubbornly refused to stay with Barcelona despite being offered a raise and the spot of number 1.

Leaving Barca was a huge mistake but it could be an even bigger mistake to step on LVG’s toes. There are little to no chances to see Valdes actually sign with a club of Manchester’s stature. After spending one year out on injury and another year on the bench it is complicated to see a possible destination. He is going to be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of who that bidder is. Valdes has an attitude problem as pointed out by Van Gaal who does not stay things casually. The rupture was explained by the Dutchman who told the press Valdes had refused to perform for the second team even though he just returned from injury. This happened a while back and since then things have been going downhill.
