Manchester United’s interest in Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers is widely known but a new report suggests that the 48-year-old is ready to say ‘yes’ to the job if it is offered to him.
90min.com‘s Graeme Bailey claims that Rodgers would not turn down an offer to manage the Red Devils, despite his past association with rivals Liverpool:
Brendan Rodgers ready to say ‘yes’ to Manchester United, if he is offered the job.
United have put together a ‘succession’ plan and Rodgers is emerging as first choice to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and he won’t turn it down.

Supporters on Twitter are very disappointed that Rodgers appears to be the favourite to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the hot seat at Old Trafford:
Good God, what a galactic lack of ambition. Club is dying.

United fans won’t hate him , just they don’t see it as a big enough step towards winning major trophies

While Bailey is not saying Rodgers will be offered the job, he is pretty adamant that he is in pole position to succeed Solskjaer. Other journalists are far more cautious.
The Athletic‘s Laurie Whitwell, who is usually the most reliable reporter when it comes to United, suggests that while Rodgers does have admirers at the club, an approach is unlikely to be made anytime soon. Fans should probably treat Bailey’s remarks with caution.
