Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez is unwilling to take a pay cut in order to facilitate a permanent move away from Old Trafford, according to the Evening Standard.
The newspaper reports that the 31-year-old is unlikely to stay at Inter Milan beyond his loan spell, and with the player earning a staggering £450,000 a week, finding another buyer will be difficult.
Fans on Twitter would like to see Sanchez leave as soon as possible:

If there's ever a player to sum up Ed Woodwards tenure at Man Utd – it's Alexis Sanchez.#WoodwardOut

At the moment, there appear to be three options on the table. The likeliest is another loan spell, where United pay a large percentage of the Chilean international’s wages.
The second option would be a mutual termination of Sanchez’s contract, effectively paying significant compensation so he can leave on a free transfer.
Alternatively, the player could stay at Old Trafford but with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly telling the winger he was surplus to requirements last summer, that is the least appealing solution open to them.
