Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that Paul Pogba will not be available for tomorrow’s game against Leicester City.
The Frenchman picked up an ankle injury against Southampton and it was hoped that the international break would give him enough time to recover. However, in his pre-match conference today, Solskjaer delivered the bad news:
“Pogba won’t be fit, no. Unless he’s had a miraculous recovery overnight from yesterday to today or tonight to tomorrow, he’s not been ready to do 100% training, no.”
Unsurprisingly, United fans on Twitter were very disappointed about the injury setback and are not that optimistic about the club’s chances against the Foxes at Old Trafford:
We are doomed.

One injury and the midfield is completely finished. That's the state of this club now.

Pogba is integral to how United play, and his creativity in midfield will be sorely missed tomorrow afternoon. It’s likely, therefore, that Juan Mata will start the match to offer some flair in the final third of the pitch.
United’s other options in midfield, such as Nemanja Matic and Fred, are hardly similar types of player, but Solskjaer will have to make do with what he has got.
