WBA vs Manchester United – Preview And Predicted Line-Ups

Manchester United really need to come back with three points from West Brom in order to keep their Champions League hopes alive. It`s going to be a tough match as the Albion managed to defeat Everton and draw against the Premier League leaders Leicester. Even so, LVG’s players should have the upper hand given their 3-2 win against Arsenal and the 1-0 victory over Watford. Even statistics are pointing to a United win. The Devils are undefeated in their last 9 games at the Hawthorns and will hopefully continue down the same path.

In terms of their squad, Manchester have a lot to worry about. Rumors have it that Smalling and Valencia might be back but that is kind of a stretch given the fact that they did not even get to play for the youth team after being fully recovered. LVG could also push with Phil Jones, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson or Fellaini but the risk might be too big. Luke Shaw, Donald Love, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ashley Young, Will Keane and Wayne Rooney are all out of the question.

All eyes remain on Rashford who many say, should be used as a sole striker until the end of the season. It remains to be seen if he can hold his own against the excruciating schedule United will need to handle during the next couple of weeks. LVG will have to find a way to keep his players motivated and most importantly fit for the games with Liverpool, City and Leicester, all of which will be decisive in terms of what happens in the club’s 2016-2017 season. If all goes well, United can finish 4th and also win the Europa League thus doubly securing their spot in next year’s Champions League.

WBA will not be able to use Brunt, Evans, Lindegaard, McManaman and Morrison. They will be able to put together their best attacking line though with Stephane Sesegnon, Saido Berahino and Rondon in great shape.
