Manchester United winger Andreas Pereira has given manager Jose Mourinho plenty to think about as he scored one of the goals of the weekend during Valencia’s 6-3 disposal of Real Betis.

The Brazilian chose to go out on loan to Valencia instead of choosing to stay at United and fight for his place in the side, a decision that Mourinho publicly displayed his annoyance at. The No.11 has made six appearances for the Spanish side so far this season, and the goal against Betis was his first for the club.

Pereira has been tipped for stardom over the years but has never really made his stamp on the first team at United, despite scoring a free kick on his debut in 2015. Let’s hope the 21-year-old can help Valencia continue their impressive start to the season, and give Jose Mourinho no choice but to recall him and hand him a chance in the first team.
