Manchester United have made an opening offer of €40m (£35m) for Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to Goal.com France.
The Red Devils have continued tracking the 22-year-old since he was sold by Celtic last summer, and have received a number of glowing reports about the player.
Some supporters on Twitter think Dembele would be a good addition to the squad:

Dembele certainly hasn’t had everything go his way since his €20m move to Lyon last August. He has scored 20 goals in 46 appearances for the French club but he has been in and out of the starting line up under manager Bruno Genesio.
He started the final two league games of the season, but he had been used only from the bench in the previous four matches.
Dembele has admitted he initially found it difficult stepping up to the standard of Ligue One after playing in Scotland, and he would have to step up again if he moves to the Premier League.
