Sent off against Tottenham and yet to score in the Premier League this season, you have to question whether the Frenchman is cut out to be United’s first-choice number nine.
Martial does score goals, as we saw last season (with his 23 in all competitions) but he can go missing in games and does not offer the movement you would expect in a top-class striker.
