United’s Hopes Of Sealing Deal For Fullback Dealt A Blow After £60m Price Tag Is Revealed

Manchester United will have to shell out £60m if they want Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer, according to reports in England.

The 21-year-old is believed to be a key target for Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the Norwegian looks to revamp his squad.

Palace are, however, reluctant to let both Wan-Bissaka and Wilfried Zaha leave Selhurst Park, and have tried to price United out from signing the fullback.

Zaha has reportedly asked to leave the Eagles, with reports suggesting that he will be sold for a fee between £80m and £100m. United, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are the teams said to be keenest on the winger.

If the 26-year-old does depart Palace, they will be in a very healthy financial position and would not have any incentive to offload Wan-Bissaka as well.

United may have to move on to other fullback targets if the deal proves to be too expensive with Juventus’s Joao Cancelo and Paris Saint-Germain’s Thomas Meunier having also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
