United Weighing Up Move For Turkish Teenager Who Could Be Available For Just £7m

Manchester United are considering whether to make a move for Galatasaray centre-back Ozan Kabak, according to the Sun.

The 18-year-old has broken into the Turkish club’s first team this season and is already a commanding centre-half with a strong aerial presence, despite only being a teenager.

United would, however, face strong competition to sign Kabak with Arsenal, Inter Milan and Roma also keeping tabs on the player.

The Turkish Under 18 international may have a buyout clause of just £7m for clubs outside of Turkey, the Sun believes, although this hasn’t been confirmed.

Galatasaray are said to be demanding £20m for Kabak if a team does make a move in the January transfer window, but they are also trying to tie down the defender to a new contract.

United boss Jose Mourinho will be keen for the club to sign a new centre-back when the market reopens, but he’ll no doubt also want someone with more experience than the Turkish starlet.
