United Watch 65M Rated Goal Machine More Than Six Times Ahead Of Potential Summer Move

Manchester United have watched Benfica forward Darwin Nunez “more than half-a-dozen times” over the past two months, according to 90min.com.

The Uruguayan, who has scored 26 goals this season, is seemingly one of the Red Devils’ main targets for the summer transfer window.

However, they will not be the only club pursuing Nunez, with the likes of West Ham, Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa having also been in touch with the player’s agent.

It is believed that Nunez has told Benfica that he wants to leave this summer and the Portuguese side are reportedly willing to sell him if a team matches their £65m valuation.

Nunez is aware that most of the interest in him is coming from the Premier League and it appears that he is very open to making the switch to England.

United are expected to offload both Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial this summer and, as signing a young striker is a priority, Nunez would certainly meet the criteria.
