United Want Muller

Manchester United look set to make yet another bid for German star Thomas Muller, according to reports.

The latest rumours doing the rounds is that United are willing to bid £60m for the Bayern Munich forward. Muller, who is rated as one of the best in the world, can play almost anywhere in both the midfield and attacking line. He is under contract with Bayern until 2019 and will be a very expensive and difficult transfer to wrap up, if the reports are anything to go by.

United were previously linked with a deal for Muller, but these were soon squandered as Munich’s president insisted the German would stay. The current rumours have reemerged due to Muller seemingly welcoming a bid from United this week.

Muller has won just about everything there is to win in football and looks set to become one of the World Cup’s greatest ever stars due to the fact at just 25 he has already recorded 10 goals in two tournaments, not to mention a winners medal in 2014. As far as his club career is concerned, there really aren’t many around that have had more success than the 25-year-old. Over 70 goals and bags of silverware, it’s easy to see why United’s quoted fee is so extortionate.

Whether or not United will stump up the money to pay for Muller remains to be seen. Although, it seems unlikely Munich will sell the player on the cheap!
