United Told They Must Pay At Least 54M To Land Bundesliga Ace Who Has 49 Goal Contributions This Season

RB Leipzig want at least €65m (£54m) for Manchester United target Christopher Nkunku, according to Sport Bild.

The Frenchman, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester City, is expected to leave Leipzig at the end of the season, after a stellar campaign in Germany.

Nkunku laid on his 19th assist of the season as his side won 1-0 against Bayer Leverkusen last night and, combined with the 30 he has scored in all competitions, he has contributed to 49 goals this campaign.

Sport Bild do, however, raise question marks over whether Nkunku would qualify for a work permit in the UK, considering he has only two caps for France, but international recognition is just one of a number of different factors that contribute to a visa being approved.

United won’t be stopped by such administrative issues if they are serious about signing Nkunku. The 24-year-old would be an excellent addition to an attack that, with the exception of Cristiano Ronaldo, has failed to fire this season.
